The Common Sense and Simplification Party

home

or the

C.S.S.P.

The CSSP is a new political party. Its purpose is to simplify and reduce government, and the rules by which we live. This will make these things easier to understand and cheaper to administer. This in return will reduce complications for the citizen and taxes for the tax-payer.

To place the CSSP on the conventional left-right scale is not straight-forward. It has a socialist intention to help the poor and needy, to give people from all backgrounds opportunities for improvement. And yet the CSSP embraces the spirit of free enterprise and encourages the entrepreneur.

Above all it plans to reduce the number of rules, taxes and complications in life. If a new law is needed, then the CSSP believes that it would be usually be taken forward in the European Parliament rather than domestically. This is on the basis that, if it such a great idea, then surely all of Europe would benefit from it. If we can’t sell the idea far and wide, perhaps it’s not so great after all, in which case, why have it. (There will of course be exceptions to this logic.)
