The Party was the idea of Dr. David Starritt, a general medical practitioner, who became frustrated at witnessing incompetent government that was becoming increasingly expensive, and at not having the opportunity of choosing to vote for something radically different.
On the Party register, he is #1.
So far (December 2007) there are no more paid-up members.
He started by producing this document on 14th December 2006, and collecting into it his various ideas.
So, at present, the history makes short reading.
As for the future, Dr. Starritt plans to retire from practice in 2014 and then start actively taking the Party forward.
